Meanwhile, Kohli heaped wealthy reward on AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell after Royal Challengers Bangalore stormed to their third straight win within the 2021 Indian Premier League in Chennai on Sunday. de Villiers made an unbeaten 76 whereas Maxwell scored 78 as RCB defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 38 runs to maneuver again to the highest of the factors desk.

“Well, I said at the halfway mark we have 200 because of two genius innings back-to-back. Maxwell was outstanding and AB to follow,” Kohli instructed the host broadcasters within the post-match presentation ceremony.
