South Africa all-rounder Chris Morris won’t hesitate to strategy Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson in giving the young skipper ideas if the skilled campaigner feels the necessity throughout matches within the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. In January, Rajasthan Royals named Samson as their captain for the 2021 season after releasing final version skipper Steve Smith.
Morris, who has earlier performed with Samson in Rajasthan and Delhi (IPL groups), sees the RR skipper as a severe cricketer and never a young captain. “I’m obviously quite lucky I’ve got a very good relationship with Sanju, I have batted with him at Rajasthan and in Delhi. “For a guy who can keep wickets and field, he’s seen different angles, different approaches from the back and the side. So, you know, I’m sure it’s got some good ideas, I’m sure it’s got some interesting things that we can discuss when it comes to tactics and to what the plans are,” he additional stated.

Ben Stokes and me might be fairly an attention-grabbing duo: Chris Morris
Morris is evident about his function with the bat for the Rajasthan Royals within the upcoming IPL. While within the absence of England pacer Jofra Archer, it’s evident that the all-rounder will bowl his full quota of 4 overs, Morris is aware of his major function will likely be to complete off the video games with the bat within the cash-rich league.
Rajasthan Royals have one other star all-rounder Ben Stokes and Morris feels the duo will type a good pair for the Rajasthan Royals within the upcoming IPL. “I think we have got different roles as Stokes opens the batting. He is one of the best in the world if not the best. My role is to finish off games with the bat which I hope I can do more of this year,” stated Morris.
“With the ball it’s different I think he bowled a lot less in the IPL last year than he did in the previous years. But the guy has got the magic touch when it comes to cricket,” he additional stated.
“So, you know, if we feed off each other in our different roles on the team, you know, I think we could be quite an interesting duo to come up against,” Morris added.
