IPL 2024: Several cricket boards confirm availability of players, ECB keeps conditional approval | Report

IPL public sale 2024: In a significant growth forward of the IPL public sale 2024, a number of cricket boards have confirmed the availability of their gamers for the seventeenth version of the match. Cricket Australia has confirmed that the majority of their gamers shall be out there for the Indian cash-rich match, whereas the England and Wales Cricket board has saved situations.

According to a report in Cricbuzz, Cricket boards of Australia, South Africa, Afghanistan, New Zealand, and West Indies have mentioned that their gamers shall be out there for the match, besides Australia confirming that Hazlewood could be out there for the latter half with doubts over these gamers enjoying within the Sheffield Shield ultimate too. Cricket Australia acknowledged that aside from Hazlewood and those that includes within the Sheffield Shield ultimate, all of the gamers could be absolutely out there. However, it added that the Australian gamers may have the choice to decide on between the IPL and the ultimate of their home match. 

The Indian Premier League window is from March 22 until the top of May with the precise dates but to be finalised as a result of upcoming elections in India. The Sheffield Shield ultimate will happen from March 21 to March 25

England, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh give conditional approval

Notably, the England and Wales Cricket Board has acknowledged that their gamers can play the IPL until they’re unfit or have International obligations. Notably, Bangladesh Cricket Board, Cricket Ireland and Sri Lanka Cricket have additionally reportedly given conditional approval. BCB acknowledged that Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam won’t be out there for IPL 2024, whereas Mustafizur Rahman shall be allowed to play from March 22 to May 11. Bangladesh have a Test sequence in opposition to Sri Lanka from March 30 to April 3. “Taskin Ahmed and Md. Shoriful Islam, who have been listed for the auction, will not be available for the IPL 2024 edition,” BCB advised BCCI. Sri Lanka’s second and ultimate Test in opposition to Bangladesh from March 30 to April 3 places doubt on the availability of a couple of gamers.
