Insurance regulator IRDAI has constituted a five-member expert committee comprising medical consultants and insurers for advice on issues associated to mental health and insurance coverage.
With the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Director Pratima Murthy as chairperson, the committee can be offering advice and inputs on present protection and people to be provided for mental diseases.
