The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) introduced a change within the squad for the two-match Test collection towards South Africa beginning with the Boxing Day Test at Centurion. Ishan Kishan, who was one of many two wicketkeeping choices for India for the 2 Test matches, will now not be a part of the squad as he been withdrawn owing to non-public causes.
