The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) introduced a change within the squad for the two-match Test collection towards South Africa beginning with the Boxing Day Test at Centurion. Ishan Kishan, who was one of many two wicketkeeping choices for India for the 2 Test matches, will now not be a part of the squad as he been withdrawn owing to non-public causes. Kishan made his Test debut towards the West Indies in July this 12 months and can now get replaced by KS Bharat, who was India’s first alternative in the course of the Border-Gavaskar collection towards Australia in February-March.

“Mr Ishan Kishan has requested the BCCI to be released from the upcoming Test series against South Africa citing personal reasons. The wicket-keeper has subsequently been withdrawn from the Test squad,” a BCCI assertion learn.
