‘It’s Tasteless & Sexist’: Richa Chadha Reacts To ‘Sarbjit’ Co-Star Randeep Hooda’s Offensive Joke On Mayawati

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Richa Chadha criticized her ‘Sarbjit’ co-star Randeep Hooda for making an offensive joke towards former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati. The ‘Fukrey’ star shared two tweets to slam Hooda for his derogatory comment towards the Bahujan Samaj Party chief. 

Chadha known as Hooda’s ‘casteist’, ‘sexist’ and ‘crass’ whereas responding to a person, who requested tagged her, Taapsee Pauu, Swara Bhasker in a tweet. The person requested the actresses if they might condemn the remark made by Randeep within the viral clip. 

The ‘Masaan’ actress the person to clarify why he requested the feminine celebs to apologize for his or her male colleagues.  

“It’s a despicable ‘joke’. It’s crass, tasteless and sexist.” In a second tweet, she wrote, “Yes. It’s casteist too. Also, plz explain to the reason why you continue to ask ONLY women to apologise for their male colleagues while you pontificate on sexism. Not holding my breath,” she wrote whereas explaining her displeasure with the tweet.  

Randeep Hooda has been going through the wrath of the followers ever since his nine-year-old from a media occasion re-surfaced on social media. The ‘Kick’ actor made a joke in a poor style towards the previous chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. 

Several netizens trended the hashtag ‘Arrest Randeep Hooda’ after his video went viral on Twitter. They requested the actor to apologise for his offensive comment towards a lady.  

Hooda, lately seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe’, was eliminated because the model ambassador of Convention for the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) on Thursday (May 27) after his previous clip went viral.  The UN environmental treaty issued an announcement to announce that the actor would now not function a CMS ambassador.   

“The CMS Secretariat finds the comments made in the video to be offensive, and they do not reflect the values of the CMS Secretariat or the United Nations,” the assertion learn.
