External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is ready to embark on a two-day visit to Nepal on Thursday, aiming to improve bilateral relations between the 2 nations. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) introduced that Jaishankar will co-chair a gathering of the India-Nepal Joint Commission alongside his Nepalese counterpart NP Saud.
“External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will visit Kathmandu from January 4 to 5 on the invitation of the Foreign Minister of Nepal, NP Saud for co-chairing the 7th meeting of the India-Nepal Joint Commission,” the MEA mentioned in a press release. During the visit, Jaishankar may also name on the management of Nepal and meet distinguished political figures, the assertion added.
