Jammu and Kashmir: In a joint operation, Jammu and Kashmir police together with the Indian Army busted a LeT terrorist hideout and recovered arms and ammunition on the Rakh Momin space in the Anantnag district.
According to the knowledge, the police together with Army (1RR) launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) throughout the intervening evening of March 13 in the world.
Arms and ammunition recovered
During the search operation, the joint group busted a hideout of LeT and recovered incriminating supplies, arms and ammunition together with 5 IEDs (PTD’s programmed timer gadgets) and RCIEDs, 6 Detonators, 3 Pistols, 5 Pistol Magazines, 124 (09mm) rounds, 4 distant controls and 13 batteries. All the recovered supplies have been taken into custody.
Accordingly, a case beneath the related sections of regulation stands registered at Police Station Bijbehara and additional investigation is in progress, the police mentioned.
