Jaya Bachchan Tells Navya Nanda ‘You Should Marry Your Best Friend’: ‘Romance Will Be Out After…’

Jaya Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda focus on the subjects of friendship and marriage on ‘What The Hell Navya’.

In the newest episode of ‘What The Hell Navya’, Navya Naveli Nanda, Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan share their opinions and beliefs on modern-day friendships.

In the final episode of What The Hell Navya Season 2, Navya Naveli Nanda, Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda shared their opinions about how friendships have developed in right now’s time. In the episode, Navya reminded her grandmother about her earlier assertion she made within the final season – “you should marry your best friend” – and requested the veteran actress if she nonetheless maintains it.

Jaya was fast to say “yes”. However, Navya additional requested her whether or not it’s right to place romance in between a friendship, particularly if two persons are “just friends” and never concerned romantically. “Do you think it always works marrying your best friend?” She requested Jaya.

“Romance out of the window… it will be out (of the window) after marriage,” the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star replied.

Navya repeated herself and stated, “What if two people are just good friends? It doesn’t necessarily mean that they are going to be involved romantically.”

Shweta then interjected and requested her daughter, “Are you saying if you have feelings for your friend, should you go for it or not? I feel life is short, go for it.”

“But then it’s going to ruin your equation with your friend,” Navya identified.

“Your equation is anyway ruined,” Shweta responded. She continued, “Because if one person has feelings and the other one doesn’t reciprocate, it’s ruined. If the friendship is that deep and strong and the affection is there, after the hurt and pain is gone, you’ll get back to being friends. And if it isn’t, what’s the point anyway? At least you know better. Because I think when you’re in a romantic relationship with someone you understand different aspects of that person. Like you could be an amazing friend, but a terrible girlfriend to someone. So there are different layers when you’re romantically involved with someone as when you’re platonically involved with someone.”

When Jaya requested Shweta about how lengthy the romance will final (on this case), she replied, “I don’t know mamma.”

“I have yet to hear, for lifelong,” Jaya added.
