The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has written a letter to the Uttar Pradesh Government stating there was a suggestion to rename the Jhansi railway station as Veerangana Lakshmi Bai railway station.
The letter was written by Lalita T. Hedaoo, Under Secretary within the MHA, states that communiqué was despatched to the state authorities earlier too however there was no response but.
