J&K: Two Terrorists Gunned Down In Srinagar Encounter, Three Security Personnel Injured


New Delhi: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar, on Sunday stated a complete of two terrorists have been killed within the encounter in Srinagar metropolis.

“02 #Pakistani #terrorists who were involved in recent #terror attack on CRPF Personnel, neutralised in #Srinagar #Encounter. Arms & ammunition, other incriminating materials recovered: IGP Kashmir @JmuKmrPolice,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.

The prime cop stated one of many slain ultras was concerned within the assault on the CRPF personnel in Maisuma space of the town earlier on April 4.

“One of the #terrorists involved in recent #terror attack on CRPF Personnel, killed in #Srinagar encounter and other is trapped. #Encounter is going on: IGP Kashmir @JmuKmrPolice,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.

The operation is happening, the Kashmir Zone Police stated, including the police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel are on the job, ANI reported.

One of the terrorists killed was concerned within the latest assault on a CRPF personnel in Srinagar, police stated.

At least three safety pressure personnel, police added, have been injured within the encounter, PTI reported.

A police official advised the information company that the safety forces launched a cordon and search operation in Bishember Nagar space of Srinagar metropolis after receiving inputs concerning the presence of terrorists within the space.

The police official stated the terrorists fired upon the safety forces as they have been conducting the searches within the space,

The safety forces retaliated, the police official added, leading to an encounter during which the 2 terrorists have been killed.
