JNUSU President Aishe Ghosh, Attacked In Campus Violence, To Contest Bengal Polls On CPI(M) Ticket

Kolkata: Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) President and a member of the Students’ Federation of India Aishe Ghosh will contest the high-decibel West Bengal Assembly election as a CPI (M) candidate. With this announcement, Aishe turns into the primary sitting President of JNUSU to contest an meeting election.

As per report, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has given Aishe the Jamuria seat to contest from. She shall be backed by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, which is spearheading the farmers’ protest towards the three contentious agri legal guidelines handed by the Centre final 12 months. 

“Will be contesting from Jamuria Legislative Assembly Seat as candidate of the CPI(M) ,supported by the Sanyukt Morcha.Requesting all of your support,” Aishe tweeted this morning.
