In a first session which looks like entirely going to the visiting side, England did not lose a single wicket for twenty overs. In a desperate move, India lost two of their reviews in a span of five delveries across two overs. The first one came from Ashwin to Ben Stokes as a reverse-sweep attempt by Stokes was missed. The ball hit Stokes on the glove and popped up in the air but wasn’t caught. Ashwin was adamant that it was a LBW chance but a clear touch on the glove was seen.Â
In the very next over, Shahbaz Nadeem hit Stokes on the pads and appealed for a DRS. The ball was bouncing a little too much, thus missing the stumps on the ball-tracking system. Nonetheless, India lost another review and Root completed his 150 runs.
Joe Root now the only second batsman to make a 150+ score in 100th Test match after Inzamam-ul-Haq, who made 184 also against India at Bangalore in 2005.#IndvEng#IndvsEng

England are comfortably sitting at 326/3. Frustration increasing for Indian fans.
