US Vice President Kamala Harris’s airplane was pressured to land quickly after take-off on Sunday due to a technical downside on her means to Guatemala for her first worldwide journey.
“I’m good. I’m good,” Harris told reporters, giving a thumbs-up after exiting the plane when it returned to Joint Base Andrews on the outskirts of Washington. “We all said a little prayer, but we’re good.”
The vp switched planes, and a pool report mentioned she arrived safely in Guatemala Sunday night. Her spokeswoman Symone Sanders mentioned that no main delays in her itinerary have been anticipated.
