DMK MP and deputy normal secretary Kanimozhi on Saturday despatched a legal notice to BJP State president Ok. Annamalai asking him to tender an unconditional apology for inflicting “immeasurable mental agony and torture” with the allegations he made towards her.
In the legal notice despatched by way of her advocate S. Manuraj, she mentioned “she has not held any shares in Kalaignar TV” and accused Mr. Annamalai of constructing critical allegations towards her with out checking probably the most primary particulars.
Demanding ₹one crore as damages from him, she urged Mr. Annamalai to withdraw the defamatory video from social media platforms inside 48 hours from the receipt of the notice.
“Refrain from repeating such unlawful acts in the future,” she mentioned.
