Karanveer Singh, Kirpal Singh Among Multiple Athletes Across Sports Slapped With Bans by NADA – News18


India’s high shot putter Karanveer Singh and discus thrower Kirpal Singh had been amongst a number of athletes throughout sports activities who had been handed bans for 4 years by the National Anti-Doping Agency’s (NADA) Disciplinary panel.

Karanveer and Kirpal had been handed 4-12 months bans by the Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel (ADDP) of the NADA in its order on December 29, 2023. The NADA issued the record of the athletes who had been handed bans by the panel solely on Thursday.

Kirpal’s ban interval started on July 7, 2023, whereas Karanveer will serve his ban from July 26, 2023. Both had been amongst round 20 athletes from throughout sports activities whose provisional suspensions had been revealed by the NADA in July final 12 months.

The 25-12 months-previous Karanveer, who had gained a bronze within the Federation Cup final 12 months, had returned optimistic for methandienone and SARMS enobosarm. He was pulled out of the Indian crew for the Asian Athletics Championships in Bangkok in July final 12 months.

Kirpal, who had gained gold in final 12 months’s National Inter-State Championships, had examined optimistic for stanozolol.

Malak Singh (rower; mephentermine): 4-12 months ban from June 27, 2023.

Akshay: (Judoka; methandienone): 4-12 months ban from May 2, 2023.

Hardeep Singh Brar (Judoka; SARMS LGD-4033, SARMS enobosarm): 4-12 months ban from June 20, 2023.

Mohsin Gulab Ali: (Judoka; SARMS enobosarm): 4-12 months ban from June 20, 2023. Rahul Sevta: (Judoka; oxandrolone and stanozolol): 4-12 months ban from June 20, 2023.

Rohit Singh Tomar: (Kabaddi; metandienone): : 4-12 months ban from June 5, 2023.

Durgesh Kumar: (Kabaddi; metandienone): 4-12 months ban from June 9, 2023.

Ranjeet Bhati (Para-athletics; dehydrochloromethyl-testosterone): 4-12 months-ban from June 5, 2023.
