Dominic Martin, who took duty for serial explosions on the Jehovah’s Witness Convention within the Kalamassery space of Kerala’s Ernakulam district, was arrested on Monday.
Martin surrendered at Kodakra Police Station in Thrissur Rural hours after the blasts which claimed three lives and left dozens of individuals injured.
The accused, who hails from Kochi, has been booked underneath prices of part 302 (homicide), Explosive Act, and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Martin earlier put up a video message on a social media platform claiming duty for the a number of blasts in Kalamassery. In the clip, the person alleged that he took the choice because the teachings of the organisation had been “seditious.”
In the video, Martin claimed that the Centre was allegedly preaching anti-national concepts.
“I will let you know why I did this. I was part of this Jehovah’s Witnesses for the past 16 years. Initially, I did not take it very seriously but for the past six years, I realised what they are. Teaching is not right. They are teaching anti-national things. I told them that they should change their ways,” he mentioned within the video.
