Kerala cricketer C. Minnu Mani was on November 24 named the India ‘A’ Women team captain for the three-match T20I collection against their England counterparts, starting in Mumbai on November 29.

The 24-year-old off-spinner can be the primary cricketer from Kerala to lead an India ‘A’ Women facet.

Minnu, who hails from Wayanad, a district in Northern Kerala, has performed 4 matches for India taking 5 wickets.

She made her worldwide debut in the course of the three-match T20I collection against Bangladesh at Mirpur this July.

Minnu was additionally part of India’s gold medal-winning girls’s team in the course of the Hangzhou Asian Games earlier this 12 months.
