A Navy sailor misplaced his life in an accident involving a Chetak helicopter throughout its floor upkeep checks at Naval air base INS Garuda in Kochi, Navy officers mentioned on Saturday.
The Indian Navy chopper which was on a coaching flight, crashed quickly after the lift-off, sources added.
The soldier has been recognized as Yogendra Singh, LAM. The navy officers additional mentioned {that a} ‘Board of Inquiry’ has been ordered to analyze the reason for the accident.
