New Delhi: Government Railway Police Superindent Manjunath TC has introduced that trains to Haridwar might be stopped between April eleventh & 14th because the ‘shahi snan’ will happen on April twelfth and April 14th on the ongoing Kumbh Mela.
Devotees must deboard at Jwalapur, Roorkee & Laksar stations from the place they’re going to be ferried in shuttle buses as an alternative.

Ahead of Haridwar Kumbh Mela, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat assured that the state authorities is able to organise a grand and secure Kumbh Mela and mentioned concrete preparations have been made for the comfort and security of devotees.
The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to be adopted until April 30 by the Uttarakhand authorities.
