Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday introduced to impose full lockdown within the state in a bid to curb the unfold of the lethal Coronavirus. The imposition of lockdown within the state to be efficient from the night of April 29 until the morning of May 3, introduced the Chief Minister.

“Lockdown announced in state from 29th April 7 pm to the morning of 3rd May. Essential services & industrial activities allowed, public transport to remain shut,” CM Pramod Sawant mentioned.
Public transport is not going to be allowed to operate. Tourists must keep inside their lodge rooms, casinos, motels and pubs shall stay shut. Borders to stay open for important service transportation
The Chief Minister additional mentioned that North and South Goa collectors will launch particulars of lockdown at 5pm immediately.
Considering the surge in Covid instances in Goa, all ESI dispensaries within the state can be shut down and the employees working in these dispensaries can be redirected to Covid-19 Hospitals within the state.
