Lockdown in Maharashtra again? CM Uddhav Thackeray asks officials to prepare plan

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray adopted the advice by state COVID-19 process power and requested officials to prepare a plan to implement a lockdown which won’t have a serious impression on financial system.

As per an official launch, the chief minster held a gathering with Health Minister Rajesh Tope and different officials. While the members of the duty power expressed apprehension that the state may report 40,000 new COVID-19 circumstances in the subsequent 24 hours.

On Friday, the chief minister directed officials to impose part 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure below which gathering of 5 or extra individuals is banned, the order comes into impact from March 28.

Earlier, minister Tope warned that if individuals don’t comply with laid out COVID-19 guidelines then a complete lockdown could have to be imposed.
