New Delhi: Shortly after Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee was sworn in because the Chief Minister of West Bengal, the state authorities on Wednesday (May 5) announced recent curbs to fight the unfold of COVID-19, together with suspension of native practice providers.

 

Rail, state transport providers to be curtailed by 50 per cent

 

As per the federal government notification, the metro rail and state transport providers shall be curtailed by 50 per cent from May 6, as half of the newly imposed set of restrictions.

 

Banks to operate from 10 am to 2 pm 

 

Banks shall be operational from 10 am to 2 pm, and authorities places of work have been instructed to make do with 50 per cent workforce, Banerjee mentioned on the press meet.

Private corporations in the state have been requested by the administration to encourage their workers to make money working from home.

 

RT-PCR unfavourable report obligatory 

 

Starting May 7, air passengers shall be allowed in Bengal provided that they carry RT-PCR unfavourable report, which isn’t older than 72 hours previous to boarding. People coming into the state by way of long-distance trains and inter-state buses also needs to carry RT-PCR unfavourable studies with them.

 

Malls, salons, eating places to stay shut 

 

All buying malls, salons, eating places, bars, sports activities complexes, gyms, spas and swimming swimming pools would proceed to stay closed in the interim.
