Madras High Court reserves orders on suspended special T.N. DGP’s plea to recall witnesses in sexual harassment case

The Madras High Court on Wednesday reserved orders on a plea made by suspended Special Director-General of Police (DGP) Rajesh Das, looking for a route to Villupuram Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) to recall 4 witnesses, together with a lady Indian Police Service (IPS) officer who had accused him of getting made sexual advances in the direction of her, in addition to her husband, in order that his legal professionals may topic them to additional cross examinations.

Justice G. Chandrasekharan deferred his verdict after listening to the arguments of senior counsel Abdul Saleem who denied the cost that the suspended special DGP was making an attempt to delay the trial.
