Maharashtra, Kerala and 4 states showing steep rise in daily new Covid circumstances: Govt

The Union Health Ministry on Sunday stated that the six states of Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Maharashtra had been reported a excessive variety of new single-day Covid-19 circumstances.

While Covid-19 scenario has turned worrisome in Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, it continues to stay alarming in Kerala and Maharashtra.

“Maharashtra continues to report the highest daily new cases at 10,187, followed by Kerala with 2,791 while Punjab reported 1,159 new cases,” it stated.

The Ministry added that it was constantly participating with the states and UTs reporting a better caseload of energetic circumstances, and likewise with these registering new infections.

It has deputed high-level groups to Maharashtra and Punjab, that are showing a steep improve in the daily new circumstances.

The gradual however constant rise in daily new circumstances is reversing India’s Covid scenario to the worrisome part. The 18,711 new circumstances is a rise of 1,873 the nation reported two days in the past.
