Amid the rising instances of coronavirus pandemic, Maharashtra recorded as many as 40,956 COVID-19 instances on Tuesday, taking the entire tally of infections within the state to 51,79,929.
As many as 793 deaths have been reported within the state as we speak, taking the entire tally of fatalities to 77,191 in Maharashtra.
