A significant fire broke out in ND studios close to Khalapur in Raigad district of Maharashtra on Friday. The studio is owned by main artwork director Nitin Desai. Reportedly, the fire erupted at round midday and no casualty has been reported up to now.
The fire broke out on the sets of Asutosh Gowariker’s film Jodhaa Akbar which starred Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Though the film was launched in 2008, the set was saved intact. As per officers, plywood, PoP and different issues had been gutted in the fire. Soon after the fire was reported, fire preventing automobiles from the neighbouring areas had been deployed to douse the flames. The officers try to determine out what prompted the fire.
The studio authorities had saved the set of the film intact even years after the launch of the film and was the prime attraction for the guests. ND Studio has been used to shoot a number of Bollywood movies together with Bajirao Mastani, Kick, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and others. The actuality present Bigg Boss has additionally been shot at ND Studios.
