Major tragedy averted as security forces detect second IED in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama

New Delhi: A serious tragedy was averted on Monday (May 31) after the Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces claimed that they detected yet one more Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. A joint group of security forces detected an IED planted close to Railway hyperlink highway at Panzgam underneath Awantipora police station space, a police official stated.

The official stated that the second IED was discovered in Saimu Tral space and later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad. He added that the IED was destroyed by a bomb disposal squad with out inflicting any harm.  which was rushed to the realm.  

Earlier, an IED was discovered in an orchard close to Panjgam space of Awantipora in the district. It was too defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad later with out inflicting any harm, they added.
