Kolkata: Adding a brand new twist to the West Bengal meeting election 2021, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who was earlier trailing in the celebrated Nandigram seat, was now main by over 2700 votes towards her BJP rival Suvendu Adhikari after a number of rounds of the couting of votes on Sunday (May 2, 2021).

Alternatively, Tourism Minister Goutam Deb is trailing from the Dabgram-Phulbari constituency in the Jalpaiguri district, whereas Labour Minister Moloy Ghatak is trailing from the Asansol South constituency in East Burdwan district.Â
Minister of State for Fire Sujit Basu can also be trailing from the Bidhananagar constituency. BJP`s Nisith Pramanik is main towards Trinamool heavyweight Udyayan Guha from the Dinhata Assembly constituency in Cooch Behar district.
Heavyweight BJP candidates like Swapan Dasgupta, Locket Chatterjee, Biashali Dalmia, Rahul Sinha, Babul Supriyo and Samik Bhattacharya are all trailing in their respective constituencies.
