Mamata Banerjee lead TMC got here to power for the third time successful 214 seats 

 

West Bengal meeting election outcomes 2021: The Trinamool Congress led by nation’s solely girl chief minister Mamata Banerjee has come to power for the third time in the state, with a landslide victory successful 214 seats out of the 292 seats that went to the polls. However, in an ironic twist, the chief minister has herself misplaced to BJP-leader Suvendu Adhikari in his stronghold Nandigram. 

Bharatiya Janata Party has gained 76 seats, in the meantime, for the primary time the state meeting may have no illustration from both Congress or Left. 

Mamata Banerjee in a press convention said, “It is the victory of the people of Bengal, the victory of democracy. Bengal has saved India today. This landslide victory came after fighting against several odds- the center, its machinery, its agenicies.”

Meanwhile, following the Mamata Banerjee’s victory, congratulatory messages poured in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, chief ministers, leaders of political events afront.

PM Narendra Modi- Congratulating Mamata Banerjee for TMC’s victory in West Bengal, PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “tinue to extend all possible support to the West Bengal Government to fulfil people’s aspirations and also to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. @MamataOfficial.” 

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh- Rajnath Singh in his tweet congratulated Mamata Banerjee saying, “Congratulations to the Chief Minister of West Bengal, @MamataOfficial Didi on her party’s victory in West Bengal assembly elections. My best wishes to her for her next tenure.” 

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut referred Banerjee because the “Tigress of Bengal” for her landslide victory. 

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted, “Congratulations @MamataOfficial didi on @AITCofficial being elected again in the Assembly election. Good wishes for your next tenure.” 

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, saying, “What a fight. Congratulations to the people of West Bengal.” 

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav hailed TMC and its employees for defeating BJP’s “politics of hate”. 

West Bengal’s governor Jagdeep Dhankhar congratulated chief minister and her social gathering for the win in meeting elections. However, the governor raised concern and anguish over experiences of violence and arson in the state. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar tweeted, “Shared my concern and anguish @MamataOfficial at reports of violence and arson in the state. Assured by CM that concerned @HomeBengal will be directed to take all steps to maintain peace and tranquillity. Appeal all to observe calm and peace and follow covid protocols.”
