A person was booked for verbally abusing Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan utilizing a microphone in entrance of the state Secretariat, the executive hub, police stated on Saturday.

The accused, Sreejith, had been staging protest in entrance of the Secretariat for some years demanding a CBI probe into the loss of life of his youthful brother who was allegedly killed throughout a custodial interrogation by the state police.

A police officer stated the case was registerd underneath IPC 294 b (sings, recites or utters any obscene track, ballad or phrases, in or close to any public place). Sreejith’s microphone was additionally seized by the police, the officer stated, including that additional proceedings could be determined quickly.
