A tanker driver carrying liquor in his car from a distillery was allegedly killed after being robbed by some unknown persons close to below building Faridpur toll plaza, police mentioned on Wednesday.
Rajendra, 45, left Rampur distillery for Barabanki on Monday, however when he didn’t attain the vacation spot his search was began, Circle Officer, Faridpur, Raj Kumar Mishra mentioned.
When the transport firm proprietor detected his location close to Faridpur, he despatched his staff there and located his physique in the tanker’s cabin, he mentioned.
His physique had harm marks on head and there was no cash in his pocket, Mishra mentioned, including that it’s suspected that he was robbed and killed.
