Pune: Veteran Marathi actor Vikram Gokhale on Sunday supported Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut‘s controversial remarks whereby she had mentioned that what India achieved in 1947 was “bheek” (alms) however the nation bought the true freedom solely in 2014 when Narendra Modi turned the prime minister.

Thousands of staff of the MSRTC have been on a strike demanding a merger of the cash-strapped enterprise with the Maharashtra authorities.
