New Delhi: A large duststorm engulfed Mumbai on Monday afternoon and the town folks received much-needed reduction from the relentless summer time warmth as gusty winds rainfall adopted the mud storm.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted the change in climate change and issued a yellow alert for a number of areas in Mumbai for May 13. The IMD has predicted heavy downpours, thunderstorms, and dry, gusty winds, significantly in Thane and Raigad districts.
Heavy rainfall lashed the western suburbs of Borivali, Kandivali, Malad, and Goregaon, providing a refreshing reprieve from the oppressive warmth. However, the downpour wasn’t with out its penalties, with studies of energy outages rising from components of Navi Mumbai.

Prior to the showers, Mumbai had been sweltering below temperatures ranging between 33 and 34 levels Celsius, making the sudden change in climate a welcome reduction for residents.
Meanwhile, IMD has issued an orange alert for districts together with Kolhapur, Satara, Pune, Ahmednagar, Nashik, and components of Vidarbha within the coming days, indicating the potential of additional important climate occasions.
