Meerut: A 35-year-old girl died after being allegedly thrown off the balcony of a third-floor constructing by her drug addict husband.
The incident came about within the Kalia Gardhi space below the Medical police station within the wee hours of Thursday.
The police mentioned that Birendra Singh and Rajni had been married for 12 years.
Birendra, a driver, was hooked to medicine and this, usually, led to fights between the couple.
After one such showdown, Birendra allegedly pushed his spouse off the third-floor balcony of their home and later fled the spot.
SP, City Vineet Bhatnagar mentioned that efforts are on to arrest the accused.
