Kerala Police on Wednesday stated it arrested the accused who killed TTE by allegedly pushing him out of a moving train in Thrissur.
“A migrant worker from Odisha, accused of killing a Travelling Ticket Examiner has been arrested,” stated the police official.
The accused, Rajanikanta, a local of Ganjam in Odisha, was taken into custody from the close by Palakkad district quickly after the incident final night and his arrest was recorded right now, they stated.
He was travelling and not using a ticket on the train, police stated.
The incident occurred on a Patna-bound train that originated from Ernakulam.
The sufferer Ok Vinod (48), a TTE from Ernakulam, died after he was allegedly pushed out from the moving train.
It is suspected that one other train touring in the other way ran over his physique after he was allegedly pushed out by the accused close to Velappaya space beneath the Thrissur Medical College police station limits.
According to the FIR registered right now morning, the accused intentionally pushed the on-duty TTE with the intention of killing him.
As Rajanikanta was discovered touring and not using a ticket, the TTE requested him to pay a penalty, which enraged him.

The sufferer’s physique has been shifted to the federal government medical school hospital for postmortem.
