MINNEAPOLIS: Minnesota guard Mara Braun has been sidelined indefinitely with a foot harm that requires surgical procedure for the group’s main scorer and preseason All-Big Ten choice.

Gophers coach Dawn Plitzuweit introduced the information Monday, the day after Braun was damage in a 73-68 loss at Illinois. The sophomore standout is averaging 17.8 factors per sport, fourth-greatest within the convention.
