The IMD mentioned most temperatures of greater than 40 levels Celsius had been recorded at many locations over west Rajasthan and at remoted locations over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat and Odisha.

“No heatwave conditions are likely in the country over the next five days,” the IMD mentioned.
