Mother’s Day 2021: Kareena Kapoor calls mom ‘The Rock of Gibraltar’, posts adorable childhood picture

New Delhi: On the event of Mother`s Day, Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan on Sunday dig out a picture from her childhood days that includes her mom Babita Kapoor and elder sister Karisma Kapoor.

The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ star took to Instagram and relived her childhood days by sharing the picture together with her followers as she celebrated the big day devoted to mothers.

In the picture, Babita is seen holding child Kareena in her left arm as she rests the opposite hand on elder daughter Karisma. The trio is all smiling within the picture and whereas Babita smilingly appears to be like on the lens, the sisters are seen lovingly obvious at one another.

Along with the picture, the ‘Good Newzz’ actor honoured her mom by referring to her because the `Rock of Gibraltar`.

In the caption, she wrote, “The Rock of Gibraltar together with her cubs (with three crimson coronary heart emoticons).

 

“The `Rock of Gibraltar` is a monolithic limestone promontory situated within the British territory of Gibraltar, close to the southwestern tip of Europe on the Iberian Peninsula. Gibraltar is a closely fortified British air and naval base that guards the Strait of Gibraltar, which is the one entrance to the Mediterranean Sea from the Atlantic Ocean.

Since the 18th century, Gibraltar has been an emblem of British naval power, and it’s generally recognized in that context as “the Rock.”
