Senior BJP MLA from Raigaon in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district Jugal Kishore Bagri died of a heart attack in a non-public hospital on Monday, his household stated. He was 78 and is survived by his spouse, two sons and 4 daughters. His final rites will likely be carried out on Tuesday at his ancestral village Vasudha in Satna district, they stated.
Bagri, who had recovered from COVID-19 earlier, was elected as MLA from Raigaon for 5 phrases from 1993, whereas he confronted defeat on two events.
Bagri served as minister within the Uma Bharti cupboard. MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state Congress president Kamal Nath and Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam expressed grief at Bagri’s dying.Â
