Dhar: A person whose final rites have been carried out by his members of the family after he was declared “dead” as a consequence of COVID-19 at a hospital has returned residence after two years in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district. The members of the family of Kamlesh Patidar, 35, have been taken abruptly on Saturday when he knocked on the door of his maternal aunt’s home in Karodkala village at round 6 am, virtually two years after they carried out his final rites, a member of the family stated.
Kamlesh Patidar had fallen in poor health in the course of the second COVID-19 wave. He was admitted to a hospital and later medical doctors declared him lifeless. After the hospital handed over the “body” to them, the members of the family carried out his final rites, his cousin Mukesh Patidar instructed reporters on Saturday.
“Now, he has returned home but he has not revealed anything about where he stayed during this period,” the cousin stated.
Kanwan police station in-charge Ram Singh Rathore stated in line with the members of the family, Kamlesh Patidar suffered from a coronavirus an infection in 2021 and was admitted to a hospital in Vadodara (Gujarat).
The medical doctors declared him lifeless as a consequence of COVID-19 an infection, following which the members of the family carried out the final rites of the physique given by the hospital in Vadodara after which returned to their village, he stated.
The members of the family got here to know that he was alive when he returned residence on Saturday, Rathore stated.
