We mainly get the supply of oxygen from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and a small amount from Maharashtra. We have also started getting it from Bhilai (Chhattisgarh) steel plant,” Chouhan stated.

Oxygen must be used judiciously and as per requirement, the chief minister added.

Recently, a number of cities within the state had reported scarcity of remdesivir injection that’s used within the remedy of coronavirus sufferers.

Talking about that, Chouhan stated, “We have got 2,000 injections (remdesivir) day before yesterday. The state government has decided to purchase one lakh injections and it has started getting them.”

According to Chouhan, the state authorities can also be making preparations for the ventilators.

“We will soon get 350 ventilators from the Centre,” he stated.

Chouhan appealed to the folks to remain at house and keep away from venturing out unnecessarily to assist curb the unfold of the virus.

“We should adopt appropriate behaviour to protect ourselves from the pandemic…People should help by keeping themselves protected,” he stated.

The CM stated he’s scheduled to carry a digital assembly on Saturday with the district disaster administration committees to debate the pandemic state of affairs.
