It was all about talent, persistence, grit and dedication. Abdul Wahid Tanveer confirmed all of them on his manner to a candy double within the premier SX1 class of the MRF FMSCI National Dirt Track racing, the season’s opening spherical, on the Codissia grounds right here on Sunday.

The huge boy from Mysuru has seen the very best and worst of dirt within the supercross and rally exhibits for a few years. So this stage wasn’t new for him. He saved it protected and easy on the corners to begin the day with a commanding win.

He was a bit shaky although at the beginning of the second, the final race of the day. Tanveer was caught within the crowd and combating fourth, however wriggled his manner to the highest within the third lap of the ten-lap occasion. From then on, there was no stopping him.

“I am happy to start the season with a double. I made it a point to take it easy when the others were making aggressive moves. It’s all about being very smooth in the corners and pacing it when required. It worked well today,” mentioned Tanveer after clinching the double.
