Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has lowered the value of RT-PCR test by 30 per cent to Rs 600, amid Maharashtra witnessing a pointy rise within the variety of COVID-19 circumstances. Mumbai airport is providing the common RT-PCR test at a lowered price of Rs 600 as towards Rs 850 earlier from April 1 to the passengers opting to avail the ability on the airport, it stated.
The state authorities had on Wednesday introduced a discount in RT-PCR, speedy antigen and antibody test costs. Following this, the RT-PCR test at a laboratory or hospital now prices Rs 600 from Rs 850 earlier, and Rs 150 for a speedy antigen test.

CSMIA had launched the RT-PCR test counters on the terminal final September and since then it has carried out over three lakh assessments to date, it famous.
Since the launch, the airport has added new amenities and explored varied avenues to accommodate and scale back dwell time for passengers awaiting the stories, CSMIA stated, including it was the primary Indian airport to launch a singular molecular testing method.

Currently, the airport hosts three amenities at Terminal 2. It has established over 30 counters of testing amenities on the terminal for worldwide and home passengers, together with these outfitted with molecular testing amenities.Â
