The Bandra Metropolitan Court on Friday ordered the town police to register an FIR against actor Kangana Ranaut after the creator of Didda: The warrior Queen of Kashmir accused her of copyright violation.
Ashish Kaul, the creator of Didda: The Warrior Queen of Kashmir has accused Ranaut of copyright infringement. The e book has been translated into Hindi as Kashmir Ki Yoddha Rani Didda. Kaul reportedly mentioned that he has the unique copyrights to the life story of Didda who was the Princess of Lohar(Poonch), now in Jammu and Kashmir, and the Queen of Kashmir.
As per the grievance by Kaul, he had despatched an electronic mail in regards to the storyline of his e book Kangana and he or she used some a part of the story in a tweet whereas saying her film with out his permission. “Is it believable by any stretch of imagination that a story and a book are being usurped by a renowned actor- turned-social activist?” he mentioned.
Reportedly, the FIR was registered underneath IPC sections 405 (legal breach of belief), 415 (dishonest), 120 B (legal conspiracy) and in addition underneath the Copyright Act against the actress.
Apart from this Kangana is already dealing with 4 different circumstances against her in the town together with a defamation go well with filed by Javed Akhtar.
