Professor Savita Ladage from Mumbai’s Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, obtained the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Nyholm Prize for Education in recognition of her contributions to chemistry schooling.
Prof. Ladage bagged the award for her advocacy of the importance of chemical schooling. Her efforts embrace mentoring chemistry educators and spearheading impactful instructor and pupil packages that advance chemistry schooling within the nation.
Her accolade locations her amongst a gaggle of previous winners within the RSC’s prize portfolio, with 60 people from this listing later receiving Nobel Prizes for his or her contributions, together with 2022 Nobel Laureate Carolyn Bertozzi and 2019 Nobel laureate John B. Goodenough.
