Mysterious blast kills girl in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara, grievously injures mother

New Delhi: A 19-year-old girl was killed whereas her mother suffered important accidents on Thursday (May 27) in a mysterious blast that came about in Handwara space of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district. 

According to studies, the mother-daughter duo, aged 49 and 19 respectively, was cleansing collard greens, popularly often called ‘Haakh’ and some forest greens saved inside a bag at their residence in Sharkoot Villgam in Taratpora Amargargh space of Handwara. Suddenly, a blast occurred, resulting in severe accidents to each ladies. 

“Both have been shifted to hospital where attending doctors described their condition as critical. The nature of the blast is being investigated,” a police supply stated.

The duo has been recognized as Sara Begum, spouse of Ghulam Ahmad Rather, and 19-year-old daughter Gulnaza Banu. Both have been instantly rushed to an area hospital the place the girl succumbed to her wounds. The lady has been shifted in important situation for specialised therapy.

A police officer stated that the duo had introduced ‘longdi greens’ from the close by forest on Wednesday. Apparently, they’d introduced a useless shell from the jungle. On Thursday, after they opened the vegetable bag at house, a blast occurred ensuing in accidents to each of them. 

A case has been registered on the native police station and an investigation is underway.
