NIA raids: In a large crackdown towards associates and supporters of Naxals, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday performed searches at 14 places throughout Jharkhand and Bihar. The searches at eight places in Jharkhand lined the Ranchi workplace of Visthapan Virodhi Jan Vikash Andolan ( VVJVA) and the homes of the associates and supporters of Naxals in Bokaro, Dhanbad, Ramgarh and Giridih districts. In Bihar, the searches had been performed at six places in Khagaria, Gaya and Aurangabad districts.
