Netgear, a San Jose-based producer of pc networking merchandise like routers and surveillance IP cameras, on Thursday mentioned it is contemplating manufacturing in India.
Netgear CEO, Charles Prober mentioned, “India is the fastest-growing economy in the world and a high-growth nation for Netgear. We see strong growth momentum here and so we have invested and expanded our research infrastructure andengineering capabilities.”
Nasdaq-listed Netgear lately arrange a 20,000 sq. toes analysis and growth facility in Bengaluru.
Mr. Prober mentioned Netgear has not been impacted due to Chinese telecom main Huawei’s exit from India. But he added, all networking merchandise should endure thorough scrutiny and security checks whereas suppliers work with authorities companies globally.
