NEW YORK: Kevin Ollie, who led UConn to NCAA title a decade in the past, has been named the interim head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.

A day after firing Jacque Vaughn, the Nets introduced Tuesday they have been turning the crew over to Ollie, who had been employed as an assistant coach forward of this season.

The 51-12 months-previous Ollie, who performed 13 seasons within the league, takes over a crew that has a 21-33 report and is in eleventh place within the Eastern Conference. The Nets dropped 5 of their previous six video games, together with a 50-level loss to the Celtics of their final sport.
